Artist Angela Williams is currently appearing in the Reunion of Artists
exhibit at the Art's Consortium's Fred Bond Gallery at
1515 Linn Street in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Ms. Williams' work can also be seen at the African American
Museum in Cincinnati's Union Terminal.
Fresh, exciting, unexpected, these are the words used to
describe the art of Angela Williams. "My paintings are like the
words of the poet", says Williams. "What poets puts to rhyme, I
put on canvas." Strong, proud cultural figures, soft gentle
maternal images evolve from her brushes. Williams speaks
for the forgotten cultural conditions, for values once held by the
most but now muted. Her work is a reminder of what is
common to the family of man.
